Privacy Policy

Effective: February 19, 2026 Last updated: February 19, 2026

Reaudia is built around on‑device processing. This policy explains what information is processed in the app, what we (the developers of Reaudia) do and do not collect, and how the Reaudia website works.

Summary

  • On‑device by design: Reaudia is designed so your scans, documents, extracted text, translations, and generated audio can stay on your phone.
  • No cloud processing required: We do not need to upload your content to run core features like text‑to‑speech.
  • No account required: Reaudia does not require you to create an account to use core features.
  • Optional network activity: Your device may connect to the internet for app updates or to download optional on‑device models and language packs.
  • This website: The Reaudia website is a static site. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical logs (e.g., IP address) to deliver the site securely.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to (a) the Reaudia iOS application (the “App”) and (b) the Reaudia marketing website (the “Website”). The App and Website are collectively referred to as the “Services.”

2. Information processed on your device (App content)

Reaudia is designed to process content locally on your device. Depending on what you do in the App, the App may process and store (on your device) the following categories of data:

  • Scans and images (e.g., pages captured with the camera)
  • Imported documents (e.g., PDFs, ebooks, text files)
  • Extracted text (OCR results) and edits you make
  • Translations and language settings
  • Generated audio (text‑to‑speech output)
  • Reading history and preferences (e.g., voice, speed)

Unless you choose to share content outside the App (for example, using iOS share sheets, exporting a file, or copying text), this content is intended to remain on your device.

3. Information we may collect

We aim to minimize data collection. In general, we do not collect or receive your in‑app content (such as your scans, documents, extracted text, translations, or generated audio) on our servers.

Specifically, we do not collect or use:

  • Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) for targeted ads
  • Your contacts or address book
  • Precise location data

3.1 Information you provide to us

If you contact us (for example via email), we will receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information only to respond and provide support.

3.2 Diagnostics (if enabled)

If you opt in to sharing diagnostics with app developers through iOS or through any in‑app support flow we provide in the future, we may receive diagnostic information such as crash logs. Diagnostic information is used to improve reliability and fix bugs and is not used for advertising.

3.3 Purchases

If the App offers paid features, purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us limited information (such as confirmation that a purchase or subscription is active) to enable the purchase.

3.4 Advertising and tracking

We do not run third‑party advertising in the App and we do not use your in‑app content for advertising. If we add analytics or tracking technologies in a future version, we will update this policy and provide any required disclosures and choices.

4. When the App uses the internet

Reaudia is designed to work offline for core reading and voice generation. Your device may use the internet in situations such as:

  • Downloading optional on‑device models or language packs
  • Checking for updates (through the App Store)
  • Opening external links that you choose to open

When your device downloads files from the internet, the service hosting those files may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address, device network information, and user agent) to deliver the download.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your in‑app content with third parties for advertising.

The Services may involve third parties in limited ways, for example:

  • Apple (App Store distribution, purchases, and optional diagnostics)
  • Hosting / CDN providers for delivering the Website and any optional downloads

6. Website data

The Website is a static marketing site. We do not intentionally place tracking cookies on the Website. However, like most websites, our hosting provider and content delivery network may process basic request data to deliver the site securely and efficiently. This data can include IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps.

The Website may include links to third‑party sites (for example, the App Store). Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to their sites.

7. Retention & deletion

App content is stored on your device. You can delete your content from within the App and you can delete the App to remove its local data. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, iOS may back up some app data to your iCloud account — this is controlled by Apple and your device settings.

If you contact us by email, we may retain your messages for as long as needed to provide support and for reasonable record‑keeping.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect information we handle. App content is intended to stay on your device and benefits from iOS security features (such as device encryption and app sandboxing). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

If you contact us, your message may be processed in the country where we or our email provider operate. This can involve transferring information across borders depending on your location.

10. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because Reaudia is designed to keep your content on your device, the most direct way to manage your in‑app content is within the App itself.

If you would like to make a request about information you have provided to us directly (for example, via support email), contact us using the details below.

11. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the App or on the Website.
