Terms of Service

Effective: February 19, 2026 Last updated: February 19, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Reaudia’s iOS application (the “App”) and the Reaudia website (the “Website”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Use of the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for your use of the Services and for any content you choose to import, scan, or create in the App.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non‑commercial use (unless we expressly allow otherwise) and to access the Website.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Services except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all related intellectual property rights.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information related to the Services. By using the Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you provide, import, scan, or generate using the App (including your documents, extracted text, translations, and audio output). Except for the limited rights needed to operate the App on your device, we do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any content you import into the App (for example, ebooks, PDFs, or images) and that your use complies with copyright and other laws.

6. Feedback

If you choose to send feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Reaudia, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the Services without any obligation to you (including without compensation), and you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to do so.

7. On‑device AI and accuracy

The Services may use on‑device models for text extraction, translation, information extraction, and text‑to‑speech. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.

The Services are not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services to violate any law or infringe any third‑party rights
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Website or App
  • Access the Services in a way intended to extract source code or proprietary algorithms
  • Use the Services for harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes

9. Third‑party services and links

The Services may include links to third‑party websites or services (for example, the App Store). We do not control third‑party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third‑party services is subject to their terms and policies.

10. App Store terms (Apple)

If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the App, including (a) product liability claims, (b) claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and (c) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third‑party beneficiary.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $10.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to do so to protect the Services, other users, or our rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer of Reaudia is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any disputes will be brought in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

This section is intended as a general placeholder. Consider customizing it to your specific jurisdiction after legal review.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

16. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
